By accessing or using this website, creating an account, submitting an enquiry, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the website or place an order.

2. USE OF THE WEBSITE

You may use this website for lawful purposes only.

You agree not to:

Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts or systems.

Interfere with the operation or security of the website.

Copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit website content without written permission.

3. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, technical information and other information displayed on the website are accurate and up to date.

However:

Product images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product.

Product specifications may change due to manufacturing, technical or supplier changes.

Minor variations in colour, appearance, dimensions or packaging may occur.

Product availability may change without notice.

Certain products may have different configurations, specifications or options depending on the selected product variant.

Where technical specifications are important to your application, you should confirm the required specification with ROLOP before placing an order.

For specialised or custom electrical applications, customers are responsible for ensuring that the selected product is suitable for their intended installation and operating conditions.

4. PRODUCT PRICES

All prices displayed on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless expressly stated otherwise.

Prices displayed on the website may change without prior notice.

ROLOP reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors, including where a product has been displayed at an incorrect price due to a technical or administrative error.

If an obvious pricing error occurs on an order, ROLOP may contact the customer to confirm whether the customer wishes to proceed at the correct price. If the customer does not wish to proceed, any amount already paid for the affected product will be refunded.

A displayed product price does not necessarily constitute acceptance of an order. An order is subject to stock availability, payment and confirmation by ROLOP.

5. ORDERS

When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

Receipt of an order does not automatically mean that ROLOP has accepted the order.

ROLOP may contact you to:

Confirm order details.

Confirm product availability.

Confirm pricing.

Confirm delivery information.

Request additional information where necessary.

Clarify product specifications or quantities.

An order will only be regarded as accepted once ROLOP has confirmed the order.

ROLOP reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

A product is unavailable.

There is an obvious pricing or product information error.

Payment cannot be verified.

The order contains inaccurate or incomplete information.

The requested product specification cannot be supplied.

There is a suspected fraudulent or unauthorised transaction.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, ROLOP will arrange a refund of the applicable amount paid, subject to applicable law.

6. STOCK AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

Products displayed on the website may become unavailable before an order is processed.

Where a product is unavailable after an order has been placed, ROLOP will contact the customer and, where applicable, offer an alternative, revised delivery arrangement or refund.

Estimated availability and delivery times are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing by ROLOP.

7. PAYMENT

Payment must be made using the payment method made available by ROLOP at the time of purchase.

ROLOP may require payment in full before an order is processed or dispatched.

An order will generally only be processed once payment has been successfully received and verified.

ROLOP is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers, banks or payment-processing systems outside of ROLOP's reasonable control.

8. DELIVERY

ROLOP will make reasonable efforts to deliver orders within the estimated delivery period communicated to the customer.

Delivery times may vary depending on:

Product availability.

Order quantity.

Product configuration.

Custom manufacturing requirements.

Customer location.

Courier availability.

Public holidays.

Events outside ROLOP's reasonable control.

Where a product is manufactured or configured specifically for a customer, additional production time may apply.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address and contact information.

If incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer results in additional delivery costs, delays or failed delivery attempts, the customer may be responsible for those additional costs.

9. INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Customers should inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If goods appear to have been damaged during transportation, the customer should notify ROLOP as soon as possible and provide photographs and relevant order information where requested.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights the customer may have under applicable South African consumer legislation.

10. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Returns, refunds and cancellations will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and, where applicable, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”).

Where a customer is legally entitled to cancel, return or reject goods, ROLOP will process the request in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

Products returned voluntarily must generally be unused, undamaged and in their original condition and packaging, where applicable.

Certain products may be excluded from voluntary returns where permitted by law, including products that have been:

Custom manufactured or customised specifically for the customer.

Altered or engraved at the customer's request.

Made according to customer-specific specifications.

Used, damaged or altered after delivery.

Otherwise excluded from return under applicable legislation.

These exclusions do not remove any statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods.

Customers should contact ROLOP before returning any product so that the appropriate return process can be arranged.

11. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If a product is defective, materially different from what was ordered, or otherwise does not comply with applicable legal requirements, the customer should contact ROLOP as soon as reasonably possible.

ROLOP will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable legislation, the remedy may include repair, replacement or refund.

Customers should provide the order number and relevant information about the problem when submitting a claim.

12. CUSTOM AND SPECIAL-MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS

ROLOP offers customised and non-standard switch solutions and other custom services.

Custom products may be manufactured according to specifications supplied or approved by the customer.

Electrical ratings.

Number of poles.

Number of positions.

Normally open or normally closed contacts.

Handle type.

Shaft or mounting requirements.

Quantity.

Engraving or marking requirements.

Other technical requirements.

The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving customer-specific specifications before production.

Because custom products may be manufactured specifically for an individual customer's requirements, cancellation or return may be restricted where permitted by applicable law.

Custom products remain subject to applicable statutory quality and consumer protections.

13. TECHNICAL INFORMATION AND INSTALLATION

ROLOP products may be used in industrial, electrical and control applications.

Product information provided on the website is intended to assist customers in selecting products but should not be treated as a substitute for professional electrical or engineering advice.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are installed, operated and maintained by appropriately qualified persons where required.

Electrical products must be installed and used in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, manufacturer requirements and safe operating procedures.

ROLOP will not be responsible for damage caused by improper installation, incorrect application, misuse, unauthorised modification or failure to follow applicable installation requirements, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. WARRANTIES

Where a product is supplied with a manufacturer's warranty or ROLOP warranty, the applicable warranty terms will apply.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

A warranty may not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, abnormal operating conditions, negligence or use outside the product's intended application, to the extent permitted by law.
